While this item DOES in fact crimp & add designs to your hair, it also tends to BURN THE SKIN OFF OF YOUR HANDS when your using it. Because it does NOT have a handle, it which FORCES you to hold onto it at the point of the poorly insulated heating plates!!! I as a Paramedic & Fire Fighter, CANNOT & WILL NOT endorse, or reccommend any product that could cause SERIOUS injury to to users who are simply following the instructions that come with the product!!
THE BEST WAY TO PREVENT ANY RISK TO YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY, & TO PREVENT ANY SERIOUS BURNS TO YOUR HANDS OR OTHER BODY PARTS WHEN You DROP THE IRON AS IT BEGINS TO SCALD YOUR HANDS~~~~~~ THIS IS NOT A SAFE PRODUCT~~~~~~~

I thought I would like this product, it is light, has a few different options for hair styles and is small...all good things...but it gets too hot to hold, so I can't even use it....what a waste of money :(.
