Vidal Sassoon VS182C Professional 2-1/4-Inch High-Heat Hair Straightener

Love, Love, Love this hair straightner! This is my second Vidal Sassoon VS182C Professional 2 1/4" High-Heat Hair Straightner. I had my first one for over 5 years and the ceramic finally cracked on it. I ended up buying two different ones (because I couldn't find this exact one) at two local stores and took them back because they were horrible! I then purchased an expensive one from another website, but caused a lot of static in my hair and made my hair smell "burned". That is when I decided to find my old one via the internet. It looks like Vidal Sassoon doesn't manufacture this model anymore, so I was happy to find it on Amazon! After much trouble, I finally have my absolute favorite flat iron again!

I have a lot of hair, & it is thick & wavy. I've had this straightener for about 2 years now & I really like it. It heats up fairly quick, & since it's large, it straightens a lot of hair making it a quick do. The only downside is that is sort of bulky, due to the size, so it's hard to straighten bangs or hair close to the scalp (roots) without burning yourself. The straightener does get very hot if you use it on full setting. (It has option to set between 1-30, I always use it on 30). Overall though it is a great straightener & I depend on it a lot. It is also great for it's affordable price. If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars out of 5!!
