As an african-american female with very thick relaxed hair, it has been a lifelong search to find a product that would 1. tame my frizzies and 2. not damage my hair. The search finally ended with the T3 Wet-or-Dry. I use a heat protector spray, blow dry my hair (using the iron on soaking wet hair would make me nervous) till it's about 80%-85% dry, then use the T3. I honestly do not think I have ever had this many good hair days, and the condition of my hair has actually improved since I started using this. I can dry, straighten and style with one swoop of the iron. I used to have a CHI, and it didn't come close in terms of giving my hair a healthy look. I get compliments because people think I've had my hair done professionally! Also, the style lasts for 3-4 days, and even then my hair is still in good condition. I'm confident that my hair will be able to face the humidity of Georgia this summer. This thing is worth every dime, and then some. Plus, the rhinestones are a nice touch.

I've been using the T3 for about a month now and it's the best flat iron I've ever used. I have course hair and nothing has ever been able to completely smooth out my hair - until now. The T3 heats up very quickly, smooths my hair and leaves it soft and silky and it lasts for days. You do need to use a flat iron protectant, though, so you don't damage your hair from the heat. I would highly recommend.

I had never own a flat iron before, but my stylist told me that I should get one. He recommended the Chi brand. Which I know a lot of people love. BUt he had been using a new hairdryer on me for the last year. I asked him about it and he said that it was supposed to cut down on the drying time and not damage hair. He said he liked it. So when I saw this flat iron from the same company I decided to get it. First off It was a great price. Second it works nicely and my hair does not seem "fried" I do use heat protector sometime but not always. It will dry damp hair but not wet hair. I am going to have my curly haired friends try it to see what they think they all own Chi flat irons. If they still like their Chi better I will update my review.
