My wife loves this wave iron. It puts enough curl in her hair to make it look like she just unbraided it which was what she was wanting. Now she looks like a sexy little hippie wild child...which was what I was wanting.

My hair is long and super straight and thick. This waver just doesn't cut it for that kind of hair. Since my hair is so long it looks more like crimping than waves. I used to have this waver when I had short hair and it made it super cute, but with the length and thickness of my hair now I would not recommend it for women with longer hair. So now I just wave the shorter layers and pull my hair up and it has a cute messy look. Not beach waves, but it isn't the product that is faulty, just not for me.
Other than that, it does work well, heats up fast, easy to use. Good value.
