Revlon RV084C 3-Barrel Jumbo Waver with Ceramic

Comment: I love this waver. I bought an iron before this from someone else but it acts more as a crimping iron. This iron is much better and every time I use it, people give me many compliments because the curls/waves look beautiful and very exotic. Highly recommend this iron.

Comment: I Love this Iron! This is the best wave iron out there! For me it works best if you use some hair product (I use hairspray) first on each strand then from the root turn the iron upside down to get the biggest waves from the roots down! The waves last all day long unlike a regular curling iron. I also have the 3 barrel curling/wave iron, but this wave iron works much faster then the 3 barrel iron for sure! Saving me much more time getting ready :) Love it!!!

Comment: When I bought this product, it worked AMAZING. I have really long, thick hair and it still gave me great waves. I loved this waver the first month I had it. However..after that first month it stopped heating up and it no longer works. I tried messing around with the heat dial, letting it heat up for an hour, nothing worked. I was very angered by this because it was such a great waver. I have another waver, but the crimps just aren't as large and flowing. I am hesitant to purchase another one of these because I am afraid that one will stop working as well, seeing that a friend of mine also had the same problem with hers, and after reading another review on here about the same problem.

Comment: I bought this iron to replace my Vidal Sassoon 3 barrel waver with high hopes of producing the mermaid-like waves i envisioned.
This wave iron is HUGE. it is like a giant robot claw, except with heat.
I have small hands and arthritis, so i found this tool almost impossible to use. Because of the weird clamp plate, it is difficult to get the tool close to the head to make a nice wave all the length of the hair.

This would be better for picking up dead mice; or smashing spiders.

Would NOT purchase again.

Comment: I've been using crimping irons most of my life. And as you can see I am a "verified purchase" of this product.

It works as expected. Heats up well, etc. And doesn't seem anymore heavier or clunker than most other Crimping Irons. And all at a decent price. (29.95) -Someone mentioned that it was $70 in an earlier review? I think they are confused and possibly rating the wrong Iron.
