Good quality, but hard to keep in hair,

These curlers are the perfect size for creating soft waves, and the set doesn't take up too much room on the bathroom counter. But I had trouble keeping them in my hair--the included plastic clips just don't hold well. If you go with these, consider finding some metal U-shaped clips to use instead.

I dont like this product at all. First of all, once you heat it, they get too hot to hold in your hand and roll your hair in. It says it has a part to hold it from (the top of the roller where its plastic) that wont get hot, but the entire roller gets really hot. and. . . if you dont heat it enough, your hair wont curl. Anyhow, besides this, the clips that come with the rollers are cage like. Thus, after you roll your hair in the velvet roller, then you add the clip, after your hair sets and cools and dries, and when you take the clips off, the clip leaves an impression in your hair, and it looks really bad when the bottom of your hair is curled and the top where the clip was wrapped around has a crimp impression of the cage likeness of the clip. didnt' like this product. would return it if i could.

I recently got these rollers. They get hot in about 7-10 minutes and are hard to put in your hair because the ends of the roller will burn your finger tips. The clips they send with the rollers are not tight enough. The rollers will fall right out if you have thinnner hair. I even tried using the large clips on the extra large rollers. Any way you use the clips that come with the rollers, they leave creases in your hair. Bad creases that you have to straighten out with your curling iron. I had to go and purchase different clips (for only 3.00) at the dollar store to keep the rollers in. I have very baby fine, thin, shoulder length blonde hair, and in spite of all the negative things I listed, once I finally did get the rollers to stay in, they really did give my hair a lot of body, it looked and felt thicker, and softer, and I loved the result of that. Seems the body stays in for quite a while also. My daughter has thicker hair and they worked better on her. It gave her hair a...Read more
