when I recently started looking for a hairdryer I wanted to find something different from the usual blowdryer style. I saw this 'hot air brush' on amazon but, I wanted to see it in person so I stopped by my next door neighbor, Target. It cost the same, $34.99 in the store so I just bought it. I have to admit I didn't know what it was at first. I thought it was something like a curling iron that would just heat up and you can use the attachable pieces. But, I was so excited when I plugged it in and I hear what sounds like a blowdryer. So, basically it blows out air like a blowdryer but does so in a way that the heat/air comes through whichever attachment you use. I've used the paddle brush which is great, the curler and the spiral/collapsing bristles which works really well to get a nice curl. It has a button for ion release which I think you are suppose to use to add shine. However, the instruction booklet doesn't even mention this button or its use. I am very happy that I bought this...Read more

It can do what you want it to do!!,

I was looking for a Hair Dryer which is not just a dryer but also has some styling attachment. I saw a couple of traditional looking hair dryers which also had some kind of straightening attachment. For about an hour I was contemplating between this one and the traditional looking ones since I had no idea how comfortable it will be to hold this rod kind of dryer. After using it I would definately say that this is extremely comfortable. It is also quite light weight so your hand doesnt get tired.
I have very thick hair, a little wavy and long hair too. It would generally take me about 30 to 45 mins to dry and straighten it. But with this dryer it takes just 15 mins for me to dryer and straighten it.
Love the Round brush attachment too. It gives a nice bounce/volume in almost no time.
For the price it is a steal, since this entire product can do what you want it to do. Can just Dry or straighten or curl.
I would definately recommend this one since it is a dryer plus...Read more

Bought this for my daughter for Xmas, looked great, was what she wanted. But when she went to use it, it was loud, again like a mini turbo engine loud. If anyone is familiar with Vantec fans, you know how they sound when in high mode. If you don't mind the noise, great product as my daughter loves it.
