I bought this very same iron in the mall 4 years ago and absolutely loved it, I left it in a hotel room and wanted to replace it ASAP, when I found it in amazon and less than half price (I payed $100 in the mall) just went for it. But eventhought it looks the same, the plates look a little different and feel a lot different, it pulls my hair and it doesn't look as straight and perfect as with my previous one, is just not the same, I really didn't like it, can't help to wonder if it is an imitation.

These flat irons are great. I had one a few years ago and gave it to my daughter who has coarse, thick, VERY stubborn hair - it is the only one that works well for her. Bought myself a cheaper one to replace that and lived with it about a year before getting to tired of using one that didn't work nearly as well. My hair is thick, but fine and wavy. This is terrific. Also seems to seal the hair shaft so that even on humid days my hair holds much better.

I'm Dominican with nappy hair and I love this flat iron my second coriolis , the first one die after five years. My hair with this flat iron comes out smooth shiny and it could be raining outside and still my hair looks good. the price is very cheap compare to the mall 120 dollars. the seller was very responsible the shipment was fast and well pack. I will def order from this seller again. :)
