IF YOU WANT A KNOCK OFF Hai convert. flat iron. When I received my packet and open it. I realized this flat iron is an IMITATION... If you don't mind...then ahead & purchase it. IF YOU EVER HAD THE ORIGNAL HAI. YOU CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY IN THE CERAMIC, CASING, ETC. Recently it stopped turning on so I decided that I loved it so much that I would get another one just like it. This is seriously the best flat iron out there. I've tried others but they either stop working quickly or they don't apply enough heat to straighten the first time around.

I have long hair that I highlight so it is important to use something that does not fry my hair. I purchased this in July '07 and by the end of the year, the finish on the blue plates started coming off. I recently contacted Hai and it was still under warranty so I returned it and they made an exchange for a new one (I don't like that they charged me $8.50 in shipping and handling for their defective product though). Other than that, I really like this iron. It's light, small and has a swivel cord. There are so many irons out there that are sky high in price and it's just not worth it. This does a great job. (We'll see how long the blue plates last on this new one). I found the best price on Amazon! |
