Farouk CHI GF1200 Volumizer 3/4" Ceramic Volumizing Iron

I am a stylist. This iron gets extremely hot which is great for styling. However I am on my 4th volumizing iron because the plastic casing cannot withstand the heat and the blades come apart over a time. I have tried different epoxies to try and salvage the iron, but once reheated the residue bleeds onto the hair. So I just keep buying new ones. I love the results which cannot be simulated with a flat or curling iron.

These was the lowest price I found this iron and it honestly performs amazingly well. One of the few instances where the tool matters more than the operator.

I LOVE my new volumizer Chi. It heats up fast and delivers what it promises for sure. Please know it is a little smaller and slimmer than the regular Chi (my own is still going strong after 3 years ... I travel a lot and was ready for a duplicate flat iron to keep in my suitcase). I have shortish, fine hair so this isn't an issue for me. It actually gives me more control and is great for traveling. I am not sure how someone with a thick head of longish hair would feel about the smaller, slimmer size. Though I've always been very happy with my Chi I decided to try out a "ghd" for my duplicate flat iron because of all the rave reviews. I was terribly disappointed and did not understand the hype ... I quickly decided to return it. At first I thought it might be fake as that is a big problem with "ghd's" but I registered it with the company and it was the real thing for sure.
