I'm completely sold on this flat iron! I stupidly purchased the Conair As-Seen-On-TV flat iron thinking it would be just what I needed... I was wrong... that one ripped out my hair on the edge of the plates since they didn't extend to the end of the flat iron like this Chi... this one, right out of the box allowed easy one handed curls (where as the con air one requires that you hold the tip of the iron as well as where you normally hold it to press the plates together) and added the prefect slight curl to my bangs that they needed... I am now a fan of Chi!

Heats up quick. Fun pattern. Great Price! Works just as great as the Red Chi Ultra that my hairdresser uses, so I'm not sure why the price is so low. (FYI the free Chi Silk Oil costs about $20 at the store)

Product looks good and arrived very fast. My girlfriend was so excited to use it, but we would suggest not to use the oil that comes with it before going out... it has a very powerful smell, exotic, but powerful. Apparently, CHI is one of the best, if not, the best brand, and after doing some research, I decided on this one.
