I have a chi flat iron I use and always use heat protector, saw this on the view as well and within 2 weeks the orange coating was coming off and my hair was fried, I haven't had split ends since the 80's .........buyer beware!!

I was really excited to get this curling iron. I saw it on "The View" and it was rated on of the best. It isn't anything special at all. I can't tell it curls any different than my $10 curling iron from wal-mart. You might have better results than I did and I hope that you do.
