I think that this waver is really great. I've been reading reviews on the three barrel wavers for a long time, I happened to wander into Ulta and just picked this up since it was such a great price. It's basically idiot proof. I have long, layered, thin hair. All I did was section off a medium size section of hair, held for 10 seconds and then just worked down the section. My hair does not hold a curl usually, and my hair is still waved 6 hours later. A good tip is to place the flat side that doesn't get hot on the same side as your head and neck to avoid any unfortunate burning accidents. I was really hesitant to buy one of these, but I'm really glad I did. I love the waves it puts in my hair, and I love that it has the ability to go from deep waves to shallow waves. I think that it's a great deal (from ulta it was like $24) and that I'm instantly in love. It takes a tiny bit longer than a 1 1/2 barrel curling iron, but it's a totally different style, and for me with pin straight...Read more

I bought this waving iron at Target and returned it right away. It was clunky, awkward to hold.... messy to work with. I recommend the Infiniti Waver by Conair instead! [...]
